Apply a thin layer of dots or particles over that layer, as if accumulating, and temporarily conclude the painting.
Leave the canvas untouched until it is forgotten.
Retrieve it once it feels like someone else’s work, and place one-dimensional lines of color onto the surface (creating a palette directly on the painting’s plane).
Before the paint dries, erase or connect the coordinates of those colored lines.
