Dialogue: “When I Was Born” I — 2015
The initial exhibition and accompanying booklet for the dialogue series When I Was Born. The project consists of texts beginning with the phrase “When I was born,” paired with drawings rendered from photographs provided by various individuals. Through the medium of drawing, the past temporality embedded within the photographs is amplified into the present moment.
