2000年代から2010年代につくられたLarge&Small やMembraneのシリーズは2010年代のSurface & DepthやPainting on Paintingに発展していく。
Large&Smallにあった具象性とMembraneにあった抽象性が合体してSurface & DepthやPainting on Paintingとなった。

The Large & Small and Membrane series, conceived between the 2000s and 2010s, subsequently evolved into Surface & Depth and Painting on Painting during the 2010s. The figurative nature found in Large & Small and the abstraction inherent in Membrane merged, culminating in the Surface & Depth and Painting on Painting series.
